Intel is making graphics cards exclusively for games, which are expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2022. Months earlier we may have the opportunity to see the first images from Arc Alchemist, as they leaked from YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead via Videocardz.
Arc is the new Intel GPU brand designed to "tackle" Nvidia GeForce and AMD Radeon, with Arc Alchemist being the first GPU to be released.
The company had previously built the Intel DG1, which was a relatively weak card based on the Xe LP graphics architecture.
Instead, the new card is part of Intel's Xe HPG (high power/gaming) roadmap and is said to offer performance similar to an Nvidia RTX 3070 thanks to its 512 dials (EU) and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory.
