Vivo X60 Pro plus has an advanced camera system and Snapdragon 888

The Vivo officially announced its new flagship, Vivo X60 Pro plus, which comes with an advanced camera system and gimbal stabilization, and with the power of Snapdragon 888.

The new proposal comes as the strongest choice of the series, after the announcement of the X60 and X60 Pro.

Screen and interior

The new model comes with a 6.56-inch curved OLED screen, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and support for HDR10 + content.

The screen resolution remains FHD plus, with the brightness reaching up to 1,300 nits. Although we see small bezels around the perimeter, the chin is slightly larger, while in the center we see the hole for the 32MP selfie camera (f / 2.5).

Inside the Vivo X60 Pro + we see the Snapdragon 888 SoC, accompanied by 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Its battery is 4,200mAh and supports fast 55W charging via USB-C. Unfortunately, the device does not support wireless charging, but it does provide the necessary charger. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen.

Camera

The Vivo X60 Pro + comes with a quad-camera system (+ depth sensor) on the back, with T * coating by ZEISS on both sides of the sensors. The main ISOCELL GN1 sensor comes with optical image stabilization, 1.2μm pixels, and f / 1.57 aperture for even better night shots.

This is helped by Super Night Mode 2.0 technology, which can operate at just 0.01 lux. In addition, it improves the sensor's sensitivity to light by 38.8% and focuses accuracy by 22% compared to the previous generation.

The ultrawide sensor IMX598 of 48MP and 114 degrees is one that comes with a type stabilization gimbal. It can correct + -3 degrees of motion, which is three times more than an optical stabilizer.

Together we see an 8MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, which can reach up to 60x digital zoom. Finally, we see a 32MP telephoto lens and a 50mm depth sensor for portraits.

Price and availability

The Vivo X60 Pro + will be released on January 30, with pre-orders starting today in China. Unfortunately, at this time we do not know if it will be released in other markets.
