The Android 12 seems to bear the option to simultaneously open two applications through the App Pairs function.
Users will be able to have two applications together in one icon, which once selected will automatically open both applications they have selected.
If you are familiar with the function, many flagships of the Samsung Galaxy series have had it for years.
In addition, Microsoft did exactly the same with the Surface Duo and the "App Groups" function, although both applications opened on the two screens of the device respectively. Respectively, the App Pairs feature of Android 12 will open the two applications, one on top of the other.
As with Split Screen today, App Pairs will allow you to adjust the size of each application depending on how much screen space you want it to take up.
We do not know at the moment what the new feature will look like, but we expect to find out in a few weeks with the release of the first beta of Android 12.
