Macs can run Ubuntu Linux with the help of Apple M1 chips

After the release of Fedora 33 and the support of the Windows 10 operating system, Mac machines with Apple M1 chip can now run Ubuntu Linux. Support comes from Corellium , a company that specializes in VM proposals for devices with ARM architecture.

Corellium's new proposal brings a modified version of the popular Linux distro, with full support for UI, USB, I2C, and DART, something we have not seen in port efforts so far. Chris Wade, the company's CTO, notes that the changes made make Ubuntu fully usable on Mac computers M1 Apple, the program continued to evolve.

Although it is the best port so far, it should be noted that it is still in beta, so there are limitations. For example, Wi-Fi is not working at the moment, and hardware acceleration is not supported.

Anyway, it's impressive that we can run the full version of Ubuntu Linux on the new Apple M1 Mac. We hope that in the future all the problems will be solved.
