LG is considering leaving the smartphone market

After nearly five consecutive years of losses and $ 4.5 billion in commitments, LG is considering exiting the smartphone market by 2021. 

According to The Korean Herald, LG CEO Kwon Bong-Seok has already notified its employees of major changes they are considering.

In fact, LG confirms on The Verge website that the message to the employees was real, but nothing has been decided yet. A few days ago, the company had announced that it is not going to leave the smartphone market, while at CES 2021 it prepared us for the upcoming LG Rollable. It seems that whatever changes come, we will know in the coming weeks.
