The first speedtest video between the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 versions gives us a good idea of the differences between the two versions of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The SpeedTest G channel on YouTube gives us the battle we have been waiting for, showing us that Samsung has indeed made leaps but that there is still a problem.
The test used by the channel is the Speed Test G 2.0, where we first see the two versions of the Galaxy S21 Ultra side by side.
In the first 10 seconds, the Exynos 2100 version takes first place, completing the CPU test a little faster, with the fastest clocks in the processor of the new SoC.
But everything changes when entering the GPU test. There, the Snapdragon 888 version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra takes first place.
We see the same thing happening in the Unity test, with the two devices starting together, but the version with the Qualcomm SoC simply leaves behind the Exynos 2100 version with a big difference . We see exactly the same results in the Unreal test.
The version with Snapdragon 888 completed the test in 1: 19.0 , with 34.7 seconds in the CPU test, 18.1 in the mixed and 26.1 in the GPU test.
The Exynos 2100 version completed the test in 1: 27.2 , with 33.4 seconds in the CPU test, 20.1 seconds in the mixed and 33.6 seconds in the GPU. So Samsung may have significantly improved the performance of its new SoC, but in terms of GPU it is still behind.
